The Northeast Asian Studies College and the Institute of Japan Studies successfully held the "Belt and Road" Initiative and the International Symposium on China-Japan Third-Party Market Cooperation
At the beginning of September 2019, the International Academic Seminar on the "Belt and Road" Initiative and China-Japan Third-Party Market Cooperation was held at Jilin University. This international academic seminar was organized by the Northeast Asian Studies College and the Institute of Japan Studies of Jilin University.
Thirty representatives from the Japan Sea Economic Research Institute, Tohoku University, Fukushima University, Meiji University, Jilin University, Northeast Normal University, Yanbian University, Guangdong Ocean University, Yancheng Normal University Business School, Henan University of Technology, the Publishing College of Beijing Institute of Graphic Communication, and Changchun University of Technology, attended the meeting.
On the occasion of the 12th China-Northeast Asia Expo, participating experts and scholars had a lively discussion on the "Belt and Road" initiative and the cooperation between China and Japan in third-party markets, and achieved fruitful results. The views and suggestions put forward by the Japanese research team of the Northeast AsianStudies College of Jilin University were widely recognized by the experts and scholars participating in the meeting, and reached a consensus on deepening bilateral cooperation between China and Japan and speeding up the process of cooperation in the third-party market between China and Japan. In the future, the Northeast AsianStudies College will continue to strengthen mutual trust and cooperation between China and Japan, further carry forward the tradition of non-governmental friendship, consolidate the social and public foundation of China-Japan relations, and enhance China-Japan academic exchanges.
