Short Biography:
Associate Professor Chen was born in 1987, in Changchun City, Jilin Province, China. She obtained a bachelor degree of Engineering in Urban Planning from Nanjing University in 2011, and obtained a PhD degree in Regional Economies from Peking University in 2016. After that, she started to work at Regional Economies Research Institute in Northeast Asian Studies College, Jilin University. She was promoted to associate professor in 2019.
Research Interest:
Associate Professor Chen’s research direction is regional economies, urban and regional planning. She is interested in industrial agglomeration, especially in industrial co-agglomeration. She also does some research on migratory birds, and becomes interested in the effect of migratory birds’ migration on regional economy.
