Main experience:

    Cui Jian was born in Lishu County, Jilin Province in 1970. From 1988 to 1992, he studied in the Department of Ideological and Political Education of Jilin Normal University and obtained a bachelor's degree in philosophy. Worked in the Department of Ideological and Political Education of Jilin Normal University from 1992 to 1999, and was promoted to lecturer in January 1998. From 1996 to 1999, he studied for a master's degree in Northeast Asian Studies College of Jilin University and obtained a master's degree in economics. Since 1999, he has worked in the Northeast Asian Studies College of Jilin University. From 2000 to 2003, he studied for a doctorate degree in Northeast Asian Studies College of Jilin University and obtained a doctorate degree in economics. From 2005 to 2007, he conducted post-doctoral research at the Northeast Asian Research Center of Tohoku University, Japan. He was promoted to associate professor in December 2004, professor in September 2011, and was hired as a doctoral supervisor in May 2012. From March 2013 to January 2021, he served as the deputy director of the Institute of World Economics at the Northeast Asian Studies College of Jilin University, and from January 2021, he served as the deputy director of the Northeast Asian Studies College of Jilin University.


Research direction:

Since 1996, he has been working on Japanese economic research. At the macro level, it mainly studies Japan’s national economic security strategy, Japan’s foreign economic policies, and China-Japan economic relations; at the micro level, it mainly studies Japan’s corporate social responsibility, the trust relationship between Japanese companies, and the sustainable development of Japanese small and medium-sized enterprises. At the same time, it is also concerned about the economic cooperation in Northeast Asian, especially the economic relations between China, Japan and South Korea.
