The Northeast Asian Studies College "Excellence Program Korean Research Project" was successfully completed
From May 3rdto May 10th, 2019, Northeast AsianStudies Collegesent a delegation of four teachers and 20 post-graduate students to South Korea to conduct an 8-day research on the domestic political and economic roots of South Korea’s foreign policy.
During the days in South Korea, the delegation went to Korea University and the Korea Unification Studies College for academic visits, and conducted extensive exchanges and in-depth discussions with Korean students and researchers on the domestic political and economic roots of South Korea's foreign policy. A number of senior scholars in the fields of economics and political science from South Korea gave lectures to our teachers and students. The students learned a lot from their Korean peers, and the exchange and research achieved good results.
Through this activity, our students had better understanding of the domestic political and economic roots of South Korea’s foreign policies, broadened their horizons, and enhanced their ability to discover and critical thinking. The academic activity in Korea was a complete success.
